You don’t need a kitchen renovation to work with us. 👀

At Timber + Plumb, our work goes beyond the kitchen. Think bathroom vanities, closets, fireplace built-ins, home offices and cabinetry that makes everyday life a little easier.

That mudroom with nowhere to put anything? The laundry room that makes laundry even less enjoyable? The fireplace wall you’ve been meaning to do something with? We can help with all of it.

If there’s a space in your home that isn’t working for you, let’s talk. You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out, that’s what we’re here for.

You can question my cabinet choices, but I’ve already survived being asked to speak to “the guy in charge.” 😂

To the women building businesses in industries where they’re still underestimated: keep taking up space. Your work speaks for itself!

Did this trigger you or do you have these in your kitchen? 👀😂

We asked Markie what she’d never do in a kitchen renovation, and she didn’t hold back. From angled corner cabinets to natural stone sinks, some features just don’t make her cut.

Years of designing kitchens will give you a few strong opinions, especially about how those beautiful details work in everyday life.

We’re known for our kitchens, but custom cabinetry can make a difference throughout your home. Think bathroom vanities, laundry room storage, built-ins and more, designed to fit your space and how you actually use it.

Have an awkward corner, an overflowing cupboard or an idea you’re not sure we can help with? Ask Markie. There’s a lot we can do beyond the kitchen. 😉

Markie would love to be everywhere at once, so we found a solution. 😂

Between designing kitchens, managing projects and running Timber + Plumb, she can’t always be available.

Luckily, the team is ready to help and apparently, ready to be Markie 🤣🤡

Same condo. A whole new way to live in it. ✨ This Riverside Drive condo kitchen was once tucked behind a wall, with limited counter space and a closet doing the job of a pantry. Opening it up changed how the entire condo feels and functions.

Custom cabinetry, pantry rollouts and a peninsula with seating for three make everyday life easier, while crisp white finishes keep the space feeling bright and timeless. And now? Whoever’s cooking can actually join the conversation!

We also helped bring the rest of the condo together, from flooring and paint colours to furniture and finishing touches. Because a beautiful kitchen should feel at home in the space around it.

Five or six years later, this one still makes us smile. What’s your favourite part of the reveal?

Welcome to our East LaSalle Kitchen and this one is a stunner. ✨ By removing a wall and an underused closet, we completely opened up the space and made room for an oversized island, a built-in hutch and far more functional storage.

A few of our favourite details:

• The 36-inch gas range and custom cabinet hood
• Horizontal picket tile for a fresh take on a backsplash
• Warm walnut lowers paired with crisp white uppers
• Mixed hardware and layered lighting
• Island seating designed for face-to-face conversations
• Hidden pull-out waste and recycling bins

We completed this kitchen a few years ago, and it has aged so beautifully, a perfect example of how thoughtful, timeless design can continue to feel fresh for years.

Which detail would you bring into your own kitchen?

Episode 2: Demo or, as we now call it, finding out everything was built to survive a nuclear blast. 🔨

Three sweaty days later, the partition walls are down, the boardroom is opening up and the showroom is finally starting to feel as big as we imagined.

We also uncovered a mystery drywall box containing absolutely nothing, four possible layers of subfloor and a ceiling that decided to help with its own demolition.

It’s messy, exhausting and already making such a difference.

Next up: clearing the debris, removing the remaining flooring and exposing those beautiful original floor joists. Keep cheering us on, we need the motivation!

Episode 3 is coming soon. Stay tuned.
