Our Crane and Super B operators are fast and efficient, with a great eye for detail so nothing shows up broken!

Over the past few months, we’ve been sharing updates from our shop expansion as the project has continued to take shape. But behind the concrete, cranes, and construction is a much bigger story about investing in the future.

Some jobs come down to experience, coordination, and knowing how to work with the conditions in front of you. 🏗️

For this barrier installation near Hudson’s Hope, our team supported the project with precast products, delivery coordination, and crane installation on site. It’s the kind of work that requires the right equipment, a steady crew, and attention to safety from start to finish.

Whether we’re manufacturing in the shop or placing products in the field, our focus stays the same: quality work, reliable service, and helping projects move forward the right way.

These photos capture just a few moments from the many projects, job sites, and days spent in the shop that have shaped Grosso Precast over the years. They might not tell the whole story, but they remind us of the people, the hard work, and the pride that’s gone into every project along the way.

For more than 50 years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside contractors, municipalities, local businesses, and communities across Northern BC. Every project has brought new challenges, new relationships, and another opportunity to build something that lasts.

Looking back reminds us how far we’ve come. Looking ahead reminds us there’s still plenty more to build.

Every major project relies on infrastructure that has to perform long after construction is complete.

We’re proud to be supplying precast U Ditches for Ledcor’s Cedar LNG Marine Terminal Works project. Together with various sump structures, these products will form part of the site’s complete stormwater drainage system, helping manage and direct water safely throughout the facility.

Before a product ever reaches the site, there’s a lot of work that happens in the shop. From reinforcing steel to forming, pouring, curing, and finishing, every step matters, especially when the final product is headed for a project of this scale.

Projects like Cedar LNG require dependable products, experienced partners, and a commitment to quality every step of the way. We’re proud to play a small part in this project and appreciate the opportunity to work alongside Ledcor.

Here’s to building infrastructure that’s made to perform for decades to come. 👏🏼

It’s been exciting to watch this project come together, especially from the ground up. 👷🏼‍♂️

Over the past few months, we’ve been making steady progress outside our shop. From excavation and grading to storm line installation and underground infrastructure, every stage has been moving us one step closer to the finished project.

One of our favourite moments has been seeing our own precast products go into the ground. We spend every day manufacturing these products for our customers, so it’s pretty special to see them become part of our own expansion too.

Projects like this are never a one-company job, and we’re grateful to be working alongside such a great group of local partners. A big thank you to Quality Excavating for the civil work, United Concrete for the concrete pours, RL7 Mechanical for the mechanical work, and Gridlock Electric for the electrical installation. It’s been great to see everyone working together to bring this project to life.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re looking forward to sharing even more progress with you in the months ahead. 💪🏼

Every project starts long before the walls go up.

While a lot of attention is given to the finished building, it’s the work below ground that creates the foundation for everything that comes next. Our shop expansion is no different.

Civil construction began at the end of April, and one of the major milestones so far has been the storm line installation that will support the site’s drainage system for years to come. ⛈️

We’re proud to have great local partners helping bring this project to life. A big thank you to Quality Excavating for leading the civil work and keeping things moving on site.

And of course, a special shoutout to Katlyn, our Civil Estimator, who has been helping this project move from plans and takeoffs to real progress in the field. Seeing our own team involved in building the next chapter of Grosso makes this one even more exciting. 👏🏼

This project is a true team effort, and we’re excited to keep sharing the journey as our expansion continues to take shape.

Big things are happening at Grosso Precast, and we’re excited to finally share a look behind the scenes. 🤩

We’re currently expanding our shop to support the next chapter of our business and better serve the contractors, municipalities, and communities we work with across Northern BC.

Here’s a look at the progress so far:

✔ 260 m³ of concrete has been poured across two separate floor pours.
✔ New 10-ton and 15-ton overhead cranes have been installed, allowing for a combined 25-ton dual pick.
✔ Mechanical, electrical, and CMU wall construction are now underway as the project continues to take shape.

This expansion represents our continued investment in our team, our capabilities, and the customers who trust Grosso Precast for quality precast solutions. We look forward to sharing more progress with you as construction continues.
