Meet Jen!! Jen and her husband moved to central Alberta from Northern Ontario in July of 2022. They spent a number of years living in the Timmins area, but realized the property and land they wished to acquire would be more easily found in Alberta. Originally from Calgary, Jen also spent 10 years living in Montreal so is familiar with multiple bioregions across Canada.

Jen spends her time between being the PDC course coordinator and managing projects for her own permaculture design business, Northbound Bloom. These days much of her time is spent getting settled in Alberta, continuing to work on the construction of her home, and preparing for winter.

3 fun facts about her are:

· She and her husband live in a tiny house
· She has a basset hound named Duke
· Every December she has a Harry Potter movie marathon

I first met Becky of Stonepost Farms in 2019 when Rubber Boot Farm and I travelled to the Régénération Canada conference in Montreal. It was a fantastic weekend of knowledge, connection, and inspiring action-takers. Having kept in touch with Becky these past few years I was eager to check out her and her husband’s farm in Wildwood, Alberta and finally got the chance this past weekend! They focus on regenerative farming as a holistic approach which allows them to better their land and soils while maintaining biodiversity across their acreage. They are producers of free range eggs, grass-fed beef, pastured pork, pastured poultry, grass-finished lamb, unpasteurized honey, and a diverse market garden of produce. ❤️🥦🐄
