Hello ladies,

A few weeks ago, we shared a project that’s really close to my heart “Paint It Furward”, a little dream I’ve been working on with Jana Dougan from Fireweed Fine Finish Painting & Design. Together, we set out to give the Humane Society Yukon Kennels a bit of a makeover. A fresh coat of paint, a little love, and hopefully, a more welcoming space for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

What I didn’t expect was just how many of you would reach out wanting to help.

We had so many offers to sponsor that we could’ve painted twice as many kennels. Truly. That’s what kind of community this is,one that shows up without hesitation.

Thirteen women-owned businesses from right here in our YLA registry stepped forward to make this happen. Thank you for believing in this project, for supporting our goal to help fhe Humane Society, and for showing how much heart this group really has.

A kennel makeover project for the Humane Society Yukon!

Yukon Ladies Ask, Fireweed Fine Finish Painting & Design, and Briar Rose Photography - Whitehorse, Yukon Photographer are teaming up with the YLA community to bring color, comfort, and calm to the dog kennels at the Humane Society Yukon, and now we’re looking for a few incredible women to help make it happen.

We’re searching for 13 amazing sponsors — one for each kennel — to help us transform these spaces into warm, welcoming environments for dogs waiting to find their forever homes. 🐶
