Here is another project we completed this year. A small 6plex which was about 4000sq ft. We did a complete energy retrofit with 4" foam. What do you think if it?

The truck was thirsty this morning.. Its not going to be a great winter for the families down in I heard of $2000/mth Atco bills.. I'm sure we will all hear some shocking numbers this year..

Out with the old, in with the new! There are only a few tile roofs left in town, Dominion have tackled several of these roofs now. These tile roofs have lasted 60+years with the harsh Yukon winters. Which do you prefer!?

Most builders in town know the wood we receive isn't the best... however this is a new one for me! I think I'll make a small drink table out of this one at my place 🙃😆

If you live in Whistlebend I would highly recommend looking in your crawlspace for movement. Being built on 12ft of sand, the ground in Whistlebend isn't the best and is prone to movement. This has settled 6"-8" and is clearly a structural hazard.

Give us a call if you notice anything strange at all!

Another roof before the snow flies.. will be here before you know it. Working in surely has the best views while roofing!

A project from this summer... a 3000sqft deck. Possibly the largest in the ? Was built to last using treated 2x6 and hidden fasteners. This will surely host some more good times and unlock new memories at the Sternwheeler! Look for this space to open up next year. P.S the sun hits this area from 4:00-7:00.

09/11/2026

We just finished a 5000sqft renovation at the Sternwheeler Hotel now you can enjoy conferences and trade shows in the 21st century!

Let us know, what do you think of the new space?

Built Local. Built to Last.

🏠 Custom Homes • Additions • Living Suites • Renovations🏠

At Dominion Developments, we’re proud to be a local Whitehorse construction company, building for the people and families of the Yukon.
From custom homes and additions to living suites, kitchens, bathrooms, and complete interior or exterior renovations — we do it all. And when you choose a local crew, your money stays local. Money made in Whitehorse gets spent in Whitehorse, supporting other local businesses, trades, and families in our community.

🛠️ Our Work. Our Commitment. Our Warranty.

We stand behind what we build with an industry-leading 5-year warranty on all of our work.

Think about it:
If you’re spending $800,000 on a new home, shouldn’t your home have a better warranty than your appliances?
Your fridge might come with a 5-year warranty. Your new home should have one too.
We believe in building things properly, standing behind our work, and being here when you need us. If you were lucky enough to get a lot to build on, there are so many designs available out there, don't get stuck in a show box with a porch roof.

📍 Proudly serving Whitehorse and the Yukon
