Triple Bottom Line Developments is proud to recognize Brandon Smith, a Ta’an Kwäch’än Council Citizen, on reaching an exciting milestone in his carpentry journey.
Brandon has successfully completed Level 2 of his Carpentry Apprenticeship at Yukon University and is now just two semesters away from achieving his Red Seal certification. This accomplishment reflects his dedication, hard work, and commitment to building a career in the trades.
Brandon first joined DDDC/Evergreen Homes & Construction in 2018, where he began working on renovations at River Bend. As his skills grew, he became part of the crew that helped construct Buildings #4 and #5 from the ground up, gaining valuable hands-on experience along the way.
Since those early days, Brandon has continued to develop both his knowledge and his craft through on-site training and formal apprenticeship schooling. Today, he is part of the team working on our Winter Crossing affordable housing development, continuing to build the kind of projects that make a meaningful difference in our community.
At TBL, we believe in supporting Yukon First Nations Citizens in building meaningful careers in the trades. Brandon’s journey is a great example of how mentorship, hands-on experience, support from your First Nation through education funding, and dedication to learning can come together to create long-term success.
Congratulations, Brandon. We’re proud to have been part of your journey from the start and look forward to seeing you complete your Red Seal in the near future.
