There is no glaze, only the kaolinite clay and silica throughout, kiln fired at 1400 degrees.

Like hardwood or stone, this floor can be sanded to a new finish as needed.

This may be the only lifetime warranty install I've done that could look like new come end of the century.

Maybe 40 thousand years ago people discovered fire and began producing this man made material. Arguably the first.

Molded into whatever shape or size we needed, glazed in a slurry of metals to create art limited by our imagination.

I guess that's just me though.
