A symphony of colors coming together for my finish. Annie Sloan chalkpaint Oxford navy and Capri pink make the most beautiful purples and magentas! I sealed with general finishes satin topcoats and some gold stencilling.

Adding moulds to this dresser by cutting up the roses and florals from a premade Prima mould. I glue them on with E6000 glue then paint them navy and then pink to get a purple. Once I added that gold gilding wax they just pops! Then blended throughout with some gold shading using the gilding wax. It’s all in the details people!

I started by adding some raised stencilling to this dresser using fusions embossing paste. I blended navy and pink chalkpaint by Annie Sloan over it and some gold gilding that emphasized the details. I then added some paper remnants from a mint by Michelle decoupage. I took the two chalkpaint colors and blended out the seams of the paper! Next up is moulds and finishing

Good morning, it’s the details for me!!!! I’ve been so deep into this project for a week now , after a customer told me the drawer design looks like dog bones lol i couldn’t see past it 😂 I added some raised texture using f fusions embossing paste , I added moulds by cutting out the florals from a Prima premade mould and I ripped out the florals from a mint by Michelle paper. A painted color blend of purples and magentas was created by using Annie Sloan Oxford navy and Capri pink. Shading and gold touches added with pebeo gold gilding waxes. New gold floral k***s to finish it off. I’ll be posting the finished look soon

Watcha workin on Wednesday????? Do you see the sweet note on the side of the drawer? Mabel left us a message of when she got this dresser. ♥️ 1889 in Uxbridge Ont. I can actually picture this dresser being used. I started sanding and scraping at least the shellacked finish is scraping off easily but it’s pine and has lots of marks and aging. I may be painting it instead of staining. Stay posted

A cute makeover in a magazine table nobody wanted. The top is magenta mirage by and I painted with in capri pink and Jaipur pink and highlighted and stencilled with kings gold gilding by all products available in store.
