Most people would have scrapped it and bought a new one.

Not me 😅. Didn’t think I had to pull this motor after the first cut I did on the property. But those are the risks of buying used.

So the engine had to come out, so out it came. 💪

Sometimes fixing something yourself isn’t the easiest option, but it’s how you learn, how you build skills, and how you keep good equipment working for years longer than most people think possible.

This is just the beginning of the rebuild. Engine’s out. Now it’s time to figure out what’s next.

Let’s see if we can bring this machine back to life. 🔧🔥

This was the goal from the beginning…

Sequential stair lighting triggered from both the top and bottom of the staircase using hidden sensors built into the stringers.

Seeing the full system finally work made all the effort worth it.
