This Thanksgiving, we’re feeling extra grateful for all the amazing customers and hardworking team members who keep Quality Plumbing & Heating running strong.
We will be closed Monday October 13th to spend a little extra time with our families, but as always, our on-call technician is there if needed, thank you for trusting us to keep the heat on.

Last night we had the honor of getting inducted into the Weyburn business hall of fame. Quality has been in operation for 45 years! It was amazing to accept this award with the original owners Dennis and Richard in attendance. Thank you Weyburn and surrounding area for the many years of trust and support. We would like to thank Weyburn Chamber of Commerce for the amazing evening and our friends at DC Construction for the nomination!

Quality Plumbing and Heating is currently looking to hire the following positions:

Full-time Journeyman Plumber ($35.00 to $45.00 per hour). and Apprentice Plumber (negotiable).

We offer full benefits and top wages.
Guaranteed min 40 hour work week
All work done in town and surrounding communities which means home every night.
Personal van for Journeyman

Plumber Job Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
Follow building plans and blueprints.
Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.

Plumber Qualifications / Skills:

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
Excellent problem solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED certificate
Red Seal certificate
1-3 years experience as a journeyman plumber
Valid driver’s license

Time for a change! We are excited to announce that our office has been moved to the east end of our building.

Due to the extreme cold our on call technician is extremely backed up and trying to get to as many people as possible. We are trying our best to get to everyone and hope everyone is understanding and patient. A reminder that with the high winds and blowing snow to make sure your furnace exhaust and intakes are clear of snow and ice is important when it comes to your furnace. We have had some issues due to hrvs freezing things up so keep an eye on the vents for them as well or turn them off if running continues. Thanks for your patience.
