Today Central Refrigeration & Heating Ltd. shook hands with its longest serving team member, to wish him well on his exciting new venture. Our Refrigeration Installation Foreman Chris, has accepted an instructors position with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program, and we couldn't be more proud of him!
With over 13 years at Central, he has; successfully completed the apprenticeship, secured his Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration & Air Conditioning ticket, completed numerous technical and safety training courses, made it (along with all of us) through the COVID period, assisted with company proceedure and safety policy generation, represented his coworkers as the company field safety representative, lead residential installation crews, became the first ever company appointed Refrigeration Installations Foreman, organized/installed/commissioned and serviced our largest supply and installation refrigeration project ever, and all the service calls and on-call rotations in between as well as a list of tasks that goes on and on.
Chris has seen and accomplished a lot in this trade working with us. Our industry will be well served having his passion, experience, ability to teach, and mentorship for all the future intakes of new Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians in Northern Alberta. NAIT's gain is certainly our loss.
As President, coworker and best of all, friend, I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank Chris for all the blood, sweat and tears, frozen fingers, heat strokes, cuts, scratches, knee bangs, dead rodent surprises, tight work areas, team work, effort, victories, losses, high fives, laughs, disagreements, frustrations, discussions, team building event coordination, Christmas parades, mutal respect given, memories and professionalism. We have included a small snapshot of his time here with some pics...the ones we can share anyway hahaha
This isn't goodbye, this is catch ya later for a cold one!

Also, a special thanks and shout out to one of the most supportive spouses out there. Someone who is so genuine, understanding and caring. She put up with all that comes with being married to a Central team member, good and bad. She is one heck of a woman! Thank you Dar!
