**Job Title: Ground Crew Member - Tree Service**

**Job Overview:**
As a Ground Crew Member of our Dynamic Tree Services team, you will be an integral part of the operations, providing essential support to ensure efficient and safe tree maintenance. Your role will involve a combination of physical work, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols to contribute to the overall success of our tree service operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in tree care operations, including chainsaws, chippers, and rigging gear.
2. Work collaboratively with tree climbers and arborists to ensure a smooth workflow during tree removal, pruning, and maintenance projects.
3. Safely operate and maintain trucks, trailers, and other vehicles used for transporting crew and equipment to job sites.
4. Clear debris and branches from work areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for crew members and clients.
5. Implement proper pruning and removal techniques under the guidance of experienced arborists.
6. Assist in the setup and dismantling of rigging systems for tree removals.
7. Perform basic tree identification and assess tree health to support decision-making during tree care activities.
8. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in landscaping, forestry, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights and using basic tree care tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Certification in arboriculture, forestry, or related field but not necessary. With 3 years in the industry we will put you
- Knowledge of different tree species and their care requirements.
- Familiarity with basic tree care equipment and maintenance.
- Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
