Proud to Support Special Olympics Through motionball

I'm proud to once again be participating in motionball's Marathon of Sport on September 19th. This year, I'll be joining the field as part of the Inspire Bandits team while proudly representing Stutters Restorations alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a day of sports, connection, fun, and inclusion.

This year, we are working toward a fundraising goal of $100,000 in support of Special Olympics programs. Every dollar raised helps provide athletes with opportunities to participate in sports, develop confidence, and build lasting connections.

Want to help make a difference?
We would be grateful for your support. Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt, and every contribution, no matter the size, helps support local Special Olympics athletes and programs.

Whether you choose to donate, share the fundraiser, or simply learn more about the incredible work being done through Special Olympics and motionball, thank you for your support.

We're honored to be part of such a meaningful day and to stand alongside these amazing athletes.

If you'd like to support our team, please consider making a donation through our fundraising page. Every donation makes a difference.

The wildfire smoke affecting our communities is a reminder of how important it is to take care of ourselves, our families, and each other.
We hope everyone is staying safe during this challenging wildfire season.

Whether you need advice, support, or air quality solutions, our team is here to help however we can.

Stay safe, Okanagan. We're thinking of you. 💙

Areas of the interior are expecting large snowfall accumulations this week, including blowing snow and rapidly changing conditions. We thought we would share some winter safety tips to help protect your home during harsh, winter weather.

1. Ensure your furnace, wood stove and any other heating sources are in good working condition.🔥
2. Run water through all plumbing fixtures regularly to avoid freezing.💧
3. Inspect your attic for frost accumulation and check your eavestroughs and roof for potential ice dams or icicles. 🏠

According to , BC's first snowpack numbers will be released soon, with the current weather showing signs of low snow levels. Earlier this month, it was reported that seasonal snow accumulation has gotten off to a slow start, which is a worrying sign considering the drought conditions seen across the province this summer and fall, which were likely to blame for the lower snowpack levels last year.
