It was a big week, wrapping up one zone and moving over to another to kick off building a retaining wall to house the high voltage equipment required to power this project.

Another week in the books for our YVR project. They even let us come inside the building to install wheel stops for the new tugs. Josh Love has the cleanest work boots so he tackled that all on his own.

Busy day at YVR today. It felt good to put the transformers in place this morning and then move into the next phase of the project. Stocked up on some groceries and got to work right away.

Paving day for phase one. The whole gang is here and we're ready to rock.

Today was concrete day and it went pretty smooth. The final touches on the form work were done just in time for the mud. Tomorrow we will strip the forms and prep the area for the final touch, asphalt.

Well it's been a long, long year. Today we wrapped up our final project in Burnaby and will be heading home tomorrow morning. We look forward to being back in the Bay to spend time with family that has grown in number recently.
Merry Christmas to all the staff and their families and to all the people that stand behind GBC, trusting us to get their projects completed.

GBC is currently performing work in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley, Whistler and Delta. We also have work coming up "on the road" in Northern BC communities which is likely to start in the spring.
