Be careful working around power lines!!

Customer called and said their tenants had half power!!

Went to the site and this is what I found!

It was a road construction going on for a few months on the street they lived on!!

It appears that some sort of excavation equipment or front end load may have came in contact with the overhead power lines!!

Called Welland Hydro and they came out and replace the old power line with a new one!!

Had to inspect the main service , secure the mast and replace the service entrance insulator.

This is what happens when a unlicensed person works on your electrical panel! The main breaker was turned off as a HWT feed was added to the panel.
When the main breaker was turned back on, it was not seated properly on the bus bar and made minimal contact , this is the result!!

Service call! Customer is having issues with power and appliances intermittently working!
Space heaters and aluminum wiring , never good!
Outside receptacle was not GFCI protected and the chord was pulled out like a bull whip!
Both shorted out and arced and sparked!
