The word on the street is that O’Blooms must have gigantic spiders with all the webs covering the flower heads 😳😳.

No gigantic spiders here, just organza bags which are used to protect the young buds of the dahlia varieties from earwigs and grasshopper that love to feast on the flowers. We are excited that our dahlias are blooming and can’t wait to share them with everyone. Pictured are cornel, cafe au lait, cornel bronze, labyrinth and french can can dahlias.

These little hoppers as cute as they are love eating our flowers; we have to cut early before all the petals open for plants that we can do that with and for others we have to protect them all while leaving a smorgasbord for them to choose from.

I thought the couple was cuddling but google says otherwise.
