We were excited to welcome Myrrh to our training centre for the second orientation with the current cohort of the Construct Your Future (CYF) program through the Vancouver Island Construction Association.

The CYF program provides youth and adults with valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry while introducing them to the many rewarding career opportunities available in the Skilled Trades.

Over the course of two days, Myrrh learned more about what a career as an Overhead Door Technician entails, including hands-on installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. She brought amazing energy to the training, asked thoughtful and knowledgeable questions, and demonstrated excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Thank you for joining us, Myrrh! We wish you all the best as you continue exploring the many exciting career opportunities available in the Skilled Trades.

We were excited to host our first orientation with the newest cohort from the Construct Your Future (CYF) program through the Vancouver Island Construction Association last week.

The CYF program gives youth and adults valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry while introducing them to the many rewarding career opportunities the Skilled Trades have to offer.

Over the course of two days, we welcomed George and Amaya to our training centre as they learned what the Overhead Door Technician trade entails. They brought great energy, asked insightful questions, and became increasingly proficient using their hand tools throughout their time in our training centre.

Thank you, George and Amaya, for taking the time to join us. We wish you all the best as you continue exploring careers in the Skilled Trades!

Projects like this are some of our favourites. Working with Strata Councils allows us to help multi-unit communities plan and complete upgrades that improve both appearance and long-term reliability. Whether the work is completed in a single phase or spread out over several years, we're happy to help find the right solution for the community and its budget.

For this project, we replaced nine existing garage doors with new Clopay 4053 doors in Sandtone, giving the complex a clean, updated look and dependable performance for years to come.

Our team had a fantastic time at the BC CDI Show last week, taking advantage of valuable learning opportunities with our suppliers and enjoying great conversations with industry partners and colleagues.

We are also proud to announce that we now have four International Door Association Certified Master Technicians on our team!
