Clients wanted to remove this door and fix where the hinges were.
I love this sort of challenge. A few coats of bondo, some sanding, primer and paint and you can hardly see where they were.

Why I always wash my trim and doors. This was the result of only three doors one side and the trim. Your walls and trims and doors all get dirty over time. We won't paint over it before cleaning it off first. Ever.

I think the favourite part of my job is not leaving a job well done, but coming back to one that I finished a long time ago,and finding it looking as good as the day I left. This door was done almost a year ago. It gets heavy traffic, with people and their pets in and out of it every single day. And it looks as good as the day it was painted. Quality products and quality prep will stand the test of time.

An ongoing weekend job slowly scraping, sanding and removing all the failing paint from this customers trim and doors in their home.
It was painted with a low quality product, with zero prep, by a "professional painting company"
One of the things I really take issue with in this business is painters ruining homes, taking their cheque and never looking back.
The client is doing a lot of the scraping ahead of me, which helps keep the cost down a little. But it's still taking a lot of time to bring it back to an acceptable condition.

Before and after.
A new client. Making over rental units in a heritage building downtown. I love that they are willing to have the work done well instead of just slapping some paint on.
This included a whole lot of scraping, sanding, priming, washing and then finally the painting. All done in Benjamin Moore scuff x in Swiss coffee on trim, and cloud white for the walls. And factory white ultra flat on the ceilings.
Excited to start another unit next week!!!
