Wilson + Hereward is officially taking shape!

Framing is now underway, with crews working through the floor systems and prefab wall installations. With the crane lifting wall panels into place, this is one of those stages where progress becomes especially visible.

Foundation and concrete work are complete, along with major underground drainage, damp proofing, and backfilling. The focus has now shifted upward as engineered floor systems and prefab wall packages are installed level by level.

Behind the scenes, our team continues to coordinate structural details, trades, inspections, and material deliveries to keep the site moving efficiently.

Next up, we’ll continue framing the upper levels, bring in the crane for the remaining wall packages, and move into roof trusses once the upper floor framing is complete.

Craigflower Site Update

Craigflower is moving steadily through the final stages, with progress continuing across all 12 units!

Units 1 to 6

Finish paint and millwork are complete, and the focus has now shifted to countertops, electrical, and plumbing finishes. These units are getting very close to completion!

Units 10 to 12

Flooring and millwork are complete, with finish carpentry now underway. Final paint will follow, along with the remaining electrical and plumbing finishes.

Units 7 to 9

Flooring is complete, and millwork is the next major step, with delivery and installation coming up next.

Exterior Progress

Off-site work is complete, and the landscaping is beginning to come together. Granite blocks and fencing salvaged from the original house will be reused on-site, preserving elements of the property’s history.

Exterior stairs are installed, with handrails next on the list.

With occupancy planned for mid-November, Craigflower is quickly moving toward the finish line!

Driftline Development | Site Update

Exciting progress is happening at Driftline, located at 525 Paradise Street in Esquimalt, BC, as we move closer to welcoming homeowners this November!

Finishing work is moving quickly across the development, with each unit getting one step closer to completion.

Final paint is underway in Unit A, while cabinet installation continues in Unit C. Countertop installation begins in Units A and D, alongside interior trim work in Units C and D.

Next week, plumbing fixture installation begins, bringing us another step closer to the finish line!

With Driftline’s four thoughtfully designed homes expected to be ready this November, we’re excited to see the final details come together and bring this development to life.

CRAIGFLOWER REALITY CHECK

Sometimes construction does not come with a polished soundtrack. You hear the tools, the equipment, and the hard work happening behind every bit of progress.

Here is a reality check on what construction really sounds and looks like at Craigflower as all 12 units move closer to completion.

UNITS 1 TO 6
Finish paint and millwork are complete. Countertops, electrical, and plumbing finishes are underway this week. Almost there!

UNITS 10 TO 12
Flooring and millwork are complete. Finish carpentry is underway, followed by final paint, electrical, and plumbing finishes.

UNITS 7 TO 9
Flooring is complete, with millwork arriving and installation starting next.

EXTERIOR

Today we’re celebrating Ben, Site Superintendent at Rolling Tides Construction.

Ben brings years of hands on construction experience to RTC, with a background spanning industrial and high rise concrete, architectural formwork, framing, renovations, and residential construction. That range of experience, along with his strong work ethic and practical approach on site, makes him a valued part of our team.
