Today, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities.
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time to listen, learn, reflect, and acknowledge the lasting impacts of the residential school system.
Reconciliation is not the work of one day. It is an ongoing commitment to understanding our shared history, listening to Indigenous voices, and moving forward with respect and intention.
Every Child Matters.
