We'll be at the Victoria Fall Home Show October 16 to 18 at the Pearkes Rec Centre Fieldhouse, and this year it's the show's 40th anniversary.

We've been building windows in Victoria since 1978, so this one always means a lot to us. Come find the team, talk windows and doors, and enjoy free admission and parking. Note the later Friday hours, doors are open until 8pm that night.

Every fall we start getting calls about foggy windows, and the fix depends entirely on where the moisture is sitting. If it is on the inside surface of the glass and you can wipe it away, that is humidity in your home.

Run the bathroom fan, crack a window while you cook, and it usually settles down. If the fog is trapped between the panes and no amount of wiping touches it, the seal on that unit has failed and the insulating gas is gone. That one needs replacing, and in a lot of cases it is a single unit swap rather than the whole window.
