Warm, golden, and full of life ☀️

The clients wanted to warm up this room, and the transformation was magical. We used Benjamin Moore Flowers Field on the walls, which feels like walking through sunflower fields, and Chantilly Lace on the ceiling and trim to keep everything crisp and bright.

When owners are getting ready to sell, they’re trusting me with one of their biggest investments. I never take that lightly.

They trusted me with this house, and with the colours that would help it shine on the market.

One of my favorite combinations: Cloud White on the ceilings and all the trim, with Intense White on the walls.

Why it works: the soft, clean contrast lets the coffered ceilings, paneling, and built-ins stand out. And with these oak floors, Intense White is simply beautiful. The whole house feels bright, warm, and welcoming.

Trust first. Then the paint.

A little gold goes a long way. Paired with Sherwin Williams Classic Buff (SW 0050) on the walls to keep things warm without competing with the wood trim.

Sometimes the best paint inspiration doesn’t come from a job site, it comes from a 300-year old library in Vienna. 🇦🇹 Warm golds against cool blues on that ceiling taught me more about color balance than any swatch book. Bringing that eye back to every Westline job! 🇦🇹

Before any paint goes on, the surface has to be 100% clean. Dirt, mildew, and chalking residue. If we paint over that, the paint won’t bond right and you’ll see peeling and failure way sooner than you should. Pressure washing isn’t optional, it’s step one.

From bare drywall to this ✨

New construction paint job. Ceiling, walls, and trim, on this vaulted shiplap beach guest house, built from scratch. Primed and finished in Benjamin Moore White Dove throughout. The shiplap panels are the showstopper, but they only look this clean with the right prep: every seam and groove caulked and sanded smooth before paint goes on, or you’ll see every flaw once the light hits it. That’s the part nobody sees in the final shot, but it’s the difference.

Fresh coat, fresh feel. Ceilings, walls, and trim all repainted — Benjamin Moore White Dove on the ceilings and trim, Pale Oak on the walls. Paired with the existing hardwood floors, this space feels brand new.
