Bayside | Waterfront Renovation & Addition

This waterfront property is getting a major transformation, featuring a new two-storey addition, expanded living space, and a custom concrete swimming pool.

The addition will include an entertainment area with a wet bar, along with new bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.

With favourable ground conditions and excavation progressing smoothly, we're off to a great start as we prepare for the next stages of construction.

Lakeshore Cabin | Interior Completion

The finishing touches are complete, and the Lakeshore Cabin is ready to be called home.

From the exposed beams and catwalks to the custom stonework and carefully selected finishes, every detail of this home has been thoughtfully brought together.

The kitchen features Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, seamlessly integrated cabinetry, and textured plaster finishes that bring warmth and character to the space.

One of the standout features is the Brookhaven limestone fireplace, custom-cut and hand-chiseled to meet the exact vision of the designer and homeowners.

Throughout the home, custom millwork, integrated lighting, and carefully considered details create a balance of luxury, comfort, and functionality.

With the furniture in place and the final finishes complete, we're excited to see this incredible space come to life

Bayside | New Project Kick-Off

Another exciting project is underway.

Steve walks us through this waterfront transformation, featuring a new two-storey addition, expanded living space, and a custom concrete swimming pool.

One of the biggest advantages so far? The ground conditions.

You never know exactly what you'll encounter during excavation. From solid rock to soft, unstable material, what's beneath the surface can significantly impact construction timelines and costs.

Fortunately, this site has provided exactly what we were hoping for: suitable clay that allows us to move forward with a compacted crushed gravel base, creating a clean, stable working area.

With excavation progressing smoothly we're off to a great start.

Strong Pilates | Nearing Completion

We're getting closer to the finish line at Strong Pilates in Royal Bay.

The space is really starting to come together as our team works through the final stages of construction.

Mirrors are being installed, tile work is progressing, and all the Rowformers have arrived. Lighting is in place, including the integrated edge lighting around the mirrors, while the ductwork and ventilation installations are now complete.

In the bathrooms, the black tile is installed, with countertops, fixtures, and final finishing work underway.

Outside, the Strong Pilates signage and exterior graphics are going up, bringing the finishing touches to the building's exterior.

With just a few more details to wrap up, we're excited to see this space come to life and get one step closer to welcoming the Strong Pilates community to Royal Bay.

Strong Pilates | The Final Stretch

Things are taking shape at Strong Pilates in Royal Bay as we move into the final stages of this commercial tenant improvement project.

The studio is looking more complete by the day, with the Rowformers now on site, mirrors being installed, and lighting bringing the space together.

Throughout the studio, the finishing details are coming into focus. From the illuminated mirrors and dedicated stretching area to the locker spaces and bathrooms featuring sleek black tile, every element is designed with the future Strong Pilates experience in mind.

Outside, the exterior graphics and signage are adding the finishing touches, giving the studio its recognizable look.

With countertops, remaining fixtures, and final details still to come, we're getting closer to handing over this exciting new space.

This One’s Going to be Special

Our new waterfront project, Windhaven, is officially underway.

We’ve started excavation on this waterfront property, removing existing fill and working our way down to suitable bearing material and bedrock. From there, the site will be rebuilt with structural fill to create the foundation for the home ahead.

The plans call for a modern, rancher-style home positioned toward the water, taking full advantage of this incredible location.

One of the standout features will be the entrance, a tranquil pond and water feature incorporated into the approach to the front door, complete with stepping blocks across the water.

Existing retaining walls and landscaped areas will also be incorporated into the transformation as the property takes shape.

There’s a lot of work ahead, but this is where it all begins.

A Clean Slate for Something Spectacular.

We’re breaking ground on our brand-new waterfront project, Windhaven. Steve, our Site Supervisor and Project Manager, is walking us through what’s ahead.

The first step is starting from the ground up. Existing fill from the property’s previous life is being removed until we reach suitable bearing material or bedrock. From there, we’ll rebuild with structural fill and create a solid foundation for what’s to come.

The home itself will feature a modern, rancher-style design positioned toward the water, with some incredible details planned throughout, including a tranquil water feature leading to the front entrance, integrated landscaping, and existing retaining walls that will become part of the finished property.

We’re only at the excavation stage, but the vision is already taking shape.

Renovation + Addition | 100 Years of Character

Renovating and adding onto a home that’s nearly 100 years old comes with a unique challenge: making the new feel like it belongs.

That’s been a big focus throughout this project. From matching the existing flooring so it flows consistently between old and new, to choosing exterior details that complement the character and age of the original home, every decision has been made with that connection in mind.

The new garage door is a great example, incorporating additional trim and detailing rather than a simple modern finish. Inside, we were even able to source flooring that matches the existing material, complete with custom stair nosings made to continue the same look.

As we move closer to completion, siding is nearly finished, the roof, soffits and exterior lighting are complete, and work inside has progressed into paint, trim and preparation for millwork.

It’s not about making a 100-year-old home feel brand new, it’s about thoughtfully updating it while keeping the character that made it special in the first place.
