Building B | Home Stretch

The finish line is getting closer at Building B of the new Mann Group HQ.

Inside, final paint is being completed, millwork is wrapped up, and shop furniture is beginning to arrive. The lunchroom is nearly ready, bathrooms are fully assembled, and dedicated storage areas are in place to keep the crew organized and ready for the day ahead.

Behind the scenes, major systems are coming online with compressors, heat pumps, cranes, and electrical infrastructure all nearing full operation.

With only a few final items remaining and the future wash bay scheduled to begin in the coming weeks, Building B is quickly transforming from a construction site into a fully functioning workspace.

Another big step forward for the future home of the Mann Group.

Argento | Progress Update

The transformation at Argento continues to take shape as the renovation moves into the finishing stages.

Drywall finishing, sanding, priming, and the first coats of paint are now underway throughout the home. Several layout improvements have also been completed, including a new den, an expanded primary closet, and added privacy between the primary bedroom and ensuite.

A standout feature currently taking shape is the stairwell feature wall, which will be finished with micro-cement and plaster to create a striking focal point extending to the second floor.

It's exciting to see the details come together as this home continues to take shape.

Los Robles | Framing Update

A house starts to reveal its personality long before the finishes arrive.

At Los Robles, framing is entering its final stretch, and many of the home's signature features can now be experienced at full scale. The soaring living room ceilings, dramatic front entry, and sweeping staircase are beginning to define the character of the space.

Outside, the cabana structure has caught up to the main home, allowing surveyors to establish final height and placement before the next phase begins.

While there's still plenty of work ahead, this is the stage where drawings start becoming reality, and Los Robles is shaping up to be something special.

Los Robles | Site Update

Los Robles is quickly taking shape, with framing now just about a week away from completion.

As the structure comes together, some of the home's defining features are becoming easier to appreciate, from the soaring living room ceilings and grand front entry to the custom winding staircase that will serve as a central architectural feature.

Natural stone, micro-cement finishes, and carefully integrated details throughout the home will help create a clean, timeless aesthetic that carries from room to room.

With surveying underway and the backyard cabana catching up to the main home, we're looking forward to moving into the next phase of construction.

Afterlight House | Detail Progress

The Afterlight House project continues advancing as more of the finishing stages begin taking shape both inside and out.

Exterior prep is nearing completion with stucco work scheduled to begin shortly, while updates around the property continue with new cedar fencing set to replace the existing hedge line.

Inside the home, drywall boarding is now well underway after passing insulation inspections, helping define the interior spaces as the project moves closer toward finishing work.

The team also recently completed the garage slab pour, carefully managing the curing process to support long-term strength and performance over time.

Another important milestone was the successful completion of the home’s air barrier testing, contributing to the overall efficiency and performance goals of the build.

Salt + Timber | Project Update 🧂🪵

Site Supervisor Russell walks us through the latest progress at Salt + Timber as both interior and exterior work continue to move forward.

On the exterior, two coats of stucco are now complete, with the team preparing for the final acrylic finish once colour approval is finalized.

Inside, drywall is nearing completion, with finishing details beginning to take shape. A standout feature includes a custom arched wall that will be finished in plaster, wrapping seamlessly into the opening for a clean, continuous look.

Structural adjustments have also been made along the roof ridge, with double-sheeting ensuring clean lines and proper alignment throughout.

Looking ahead, a key design element is underway as one of the main walls is prepped for a stone finish. The stone will wrap around the corner and return into the door frame, creating a strong, integrated transition within the space.

Tanner Ridge | Renovation Progress

Site Supervisor Steve walks us through the latest progress at Tanner Ridge as the renovation continues reshaping the interior layout of the home.

With framing now complete, one of the biggest changes throughout the project has been the removal of multiple drop ceilings, helping create a much more open feel through the main living spaces. Large structural steel beams were brought in to achieve the new flush ceiling layout while maintaining the integrity of the home.

The updated layout has also allowed for the addition of a new wet bar and hallway closet after closing in the overhead staircase area. Designed to align with the kitchen island, the wet bar will help create a more functional entertaining space within the home.

Upstairs, a newly framed cantilevered landing now connects the hallway to multiple bedrooms, a bathroom, and a TV room, helping completely transform the flow of the upper level.

Next up, the team will be moving into insulation and fireplace installation as the project continues progressing toward the finishing stages.

Afterlight House | Progress Update

Site Supervisor Steve walks us through the latest progress at Afterlight House as the project continues moving through multiple finishing stages.

On the exterior, the lath work is nearly complete with stucco application set to begin next week as the home continues taking shape along the coastline.

At the rear of the property, the existing hedge has been removed to make way for a new stained cedar fence, while the front entry will feature a fiberglass composite door designed to replicate solid fir while offering better long-term durability against the ocean air.

Inside the home, drywall installation is now underway after successfully passing insulation inspections, with the house currently being boarded up in preparation for mud and tape.

In the garage, the freshly poured slab is being carefully maintained during curing to help ensure long-term strength and reduce the risk of cracking.

The team also recently completed an air barrier test with a strong result, helping contribute to the home's overall energy efficiency performance as the build continues progressing forward.
