Coast Utility Contracting Ltd (Coast) is part of a group of companies (CCH Management Group) that collectively have been operating on Vancouver Island for over 100 years. CCH Management Group consists of Coast Utility Contracting Ltd., VIP Powerline Ltd., and Caird Mechanical Contractors Ltd. As a group we are equipped to provide our customers with a wide variety of services in the excavation, civil construction, high voltage electrical, and industrial mechanical sectors.
We are excited to announce that we are hiring full-time, permanent Skilled Labourers to commence work on current and upcoming projects within the Greater Victoria area. Coast is looking for experienced, highly dependable Skilled Labourers who will be responsible for:
- Setting up, organizing and maintaining job site,
- Assisting with excavation and compaction,
- Leveling earth and groundworks,
- Operating specialty tools and equipment, and
- Following safe work practices, company policies and direction of supervisors.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum one year experience in construction,
- High school diploma,
- Valid driver’s license,
- Traffic control certification an asset,
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce work of high-quality and accuracy,
- Unwavering commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct, and
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
