We're excited to welcome Fusion Rise as a new member to the Saanich Peninsula Chamber!

The Victoria-based social enterprise is tackling some of our region's biggest challenges—supporting people facing barriers to employment while helping address the need for skilled trades workers and affordable housing.

Through hands-on training and real-world construction projects, participants gain practical skills, paid work experience, and a pathway toward greater stability.

We're proud to have them as part of our Chamber community and we look forward to seeing the impact they continue to make across our region.

We’re proud to recognize and thank Africa Centre for their generous support in helping bring the Fusion Rise Mobile Training Unit to life 🙌🏾

Because of this funding, we’ve been able to purchase and equip a fully mobile unit designed for hands-on construction trades training—ready to go wherever it’s needed most.

🚐💡 This unit allows us to:

➤ Deliver training on the go
➤ Reach participants in rural and underserved communities
➤ Equip up to 20 individuals at a time with real, practical skills in construction trades

This is more than a mobile unit—it’s a pathway to opportunity, empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods.

🚀 Fusion Rise Skills Trades Explorer Training – First Cohort Launch! 🛠️✨

Fusion Rise is thrilled to announce the launch of our very first Skills Trades Explorer Training Program, proudly supported by Home Depot, Victoria Foundation, and the Foundation for Black Communities. 🙌
📅 Dates: August 15 – September 26, 2025
🕤 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Format: In-person + Virtual

Over 6 exciting weeks, participants will explore hands-on training in:
🔹 Plumbing
🔹 Electrical
🔹 Carpentry
🔹 Drywall
🔹 Painting
🔹 Roofing
🔹 Flooring
🔹 Welding
…and so much more!
