Today I had the privilege of working at the aviation museum. Building walking paths for people to view some pretty cool planes. Thanx to Russ and Auz for bringing me in on such a cool project.
The final resting place for the Hawaii Mars water bomber. Truly an engineering feat. It’s hard to grasp the sheer size of this monster that patrolled the BC sky’s putting out fires. This picture in no way demonstrates its size. Something to admire with your own eyes. However if you zoom in, I’m standing in front of my truck!

Good morning! It’s 3:21 AM and it’s time to get my ass to Port Alberni to meet my es**rt into Bamfield. Here are a few photos of yesterday in the hot zone that has crippled power to Bamfield. Big shout out to the hot shot teams, hydro crews, contractors and operators doing what needs to be done to get power reestablished to Bamfield. A lot of moving pieces are in play to make this happen and Trew Slinger is one of those cogs in the sprocket! Have a great day!!

Not to often you get an opportunity to sit inside the legislature building site to deliver a load and get a great photo!
