We embraced tradition for this fireplace renovation in our Bear Mountain project - custom millwork, a new tile surround and a large insert gave this centrepiece more presence and blended the mix of contemporary and antique furniture and art pieces in this home. Scroll to see the “before”. 🪵 🕯️

I’ve been building and renovating since I was a teen. As a Red Seal carpenter with over 17 years in the field, I started Revere in 2021 because I saw that homeowners on Vancouver Island wanted to work with someone who cares about their homes almost as much as they do - even with the quirks that come along with older homes. This bathroom was a puzzle from the start. A small footprint, with intersecting vaulted ceilings and a lot of 1900s character waiting to emerge.
We went bold with green tile to bring a current touch to a historic home.
It’s the details that breathe new life into the space - the cabinet cabinet finishes, the verdant green tile, quartz door transitions.

The best part? Seeing our client’s face light up as the space began to take shape all the way through to completion. This is why we love our work.
