THROW BACK! The Big Bar Landslide Project was located 1.5 hours West of Clinton, BC and on the exclusive fishing territory of the High Bar First Nation. On June 23, 2019, a landslide in a remote canyon along the Fraser River, West of Clinton, was reported. Over 85,000 cubic metres of rock had sheared off a 125-metre-high cliff and fell into the river. This slide created a five-metre waterfall trapping migrating salmon below the slide. In the end the salmon were saved ensuring their success for future generations.

We had a FANTASTIC time at the High Bar First Nations' Indigenous Days Celebration in Clinton, BC yesterday. The fluctuating weather did not prevent a lovely crowd of awesome people from joining in the fun. We gave out a TON of PQC swag to folks that were able to answer some safety questions including: Name four pieces of personal protective equipment that a worker should use to stay safe on a construction site. Can you name four or more??
