The Island of Honduras

A custom kitchen we did in Hillsborough California.
The island alone measured 5' wide x 12' 6" long. The 2 1/2" solid Honduras Mahogany top was quickly nicknamed the "Island of Honduras"

This was a kosher Kitchen with 2 built-in dishwashers, 2 sinks, and more than enough storage for two sets of dishes.

Our client originally wanted Cherry wood cabinets, to help with the budget we suggested Red Alder which has the same grain pattern as cherry, at a 1/4 the cost. We then used a custom mixed cherry stain to finish the look. Completed with custom wood door appliance panels.

The fan rafter design was a fun challenge to build into an existing block retaining wall on a steep slope.

Built for a long-time client, this pole barn was constructed from repurposed materials, rough saw timbers, and dimensional lumber to fulfill our client's needs and budget.

Built on the clay fields of Armstrong we went with Kelowna to support the structure. Techno metal helical piles are a fast and economical way to build a solid foundation.
