Extreme heat is expected to continue throughout this week and into the weekend- there are a few things you can do to ensure your AC doesn’t freeze up:

1. Do not set your thermostat past 22 degrees. Anything lower and you risk the unit freezing up
2. Change your filter!
3. If the unit does freeze up, turn the ac off on your thermostat (turn fan from auto to Fan on to assist with melting the frozen line or coil) then try turning the unit on again once the ice has melted.
