Seth’s finally back from holidays, and just in time because we’re as busy as ever! 👏

I was on site today removing this old deck and getting the sonotube forms dug and ready for an addition we’re starting.

Meanwhile, Seth was on another site installing the cabinet doors that finally arrived, along with all the new handles. Another busy day with multiple projects moving forward!

And the faces are white this is just a protective cover until the painter finishes up. Haha 😄 

September is shaping up to be a big month for Slattery Services, and we’re ready for it! 🔨🏠

We have a BUSY September coming up and are officially booked solid! We’re forever thankful for everyone who continues to support us and keep us busy. ❤️

We’ve got 3 large projects kicking off this month that we’re really looking forward to!

Wowza, this tile turned out amazing! 👏🤩 The customers are thrilled with the finished product, and so are we!
Mike was busy in Salmon Arm today getting trim reset on another insurance job, and he’ll be back at it again tomorrow.
As for me, I’m taking a much-needed day off the tools tomorrow to catch up on emails, quotes, scheduling, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff that comes with keeping things moving! 👏
Another busy week for Slattery Services, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Did a quick little job for the wife tonight as well and maybe a seesaw for our hobbie farm goats.

Time to relax for the evening now 😌 hope everyone had a great day and week so far!

Busy day flying solo on two sites today! 👏

First up, removed an old single-basin sink and replaced it with a large double sink. The customer is helping house a friend who was displaced by the fires, so this bathroom will temporarily double as a kitchen sink area. New drain lines, faucet, supply hoses and sink all installed and ready to go!

Then it was off to help a neighbour with some rotten flooring where their old door used to be. Got the damaged area repaired and the wall sheeted back up. We were actually here last week replacing their window with a large set of double French doors, so another little piece of the project checked off the list!

Tile is on at this kitchen reno in Vernon! 👨‍🍳🤌 Chef’s kiss — it looks amazing! 👏

Also made some good progress out in Monte Lake today. New pressure tank installed, bathroom vanity hooked up, and doors all trimmed out. Of course, I forgot to grab photos of half of it 😂

Another productive day and another couple projects getting closer to the finish line! 👏

Little bit of a late post tonight! Busy day, not enough photos, but here we are at 10pm haha.

Mike got all the trim painted and installed on an insurance job, I wrapped up the skylight repair, hooked up a new vanity, squeezed in 3 quotes, and finished off a drywall patch for a property management company after someone apparently decided to punt a hole through their staircase wall 😂

Another busy Monday in the books! Onto the next one tomorrow.

Busy day on two sites today! Definitely ready for the weekend. 🙌

We turned a large window opening into a set of double French doors today. The customer is going to build their own platform/step down from the doors, and they turned out great!

We also got the skylight repairs completely textured and finished up. The photo was taken right after the final coat, so it still needs some time to dry.

Another productive week in the books! 🔨

Got some stairs replaced today so Nufloors could get the flooring laid! After the old stair treads were removed, we quickly found the stairs underneath were beyond repair and needed to be replaced. All rebuilt, glued and screwed, and ready for the new flooring 👌

Then it was over to get some texture onto the skylight repairs. Back tomorrow for a second coat, followed by trim and casing to wrap this job up!

Busy, busy day tomorrow… stay tuned 😉🔨

Didn't get many photos today because it was go, go, go! 🔨

First off to Vernon this morning to get the second coat of mud on the skylight, then back to Monte Lake to swap out an old furnace—and I mean old... like World War II old 😂

Once we got into it, we discovered the old furnace had a cracked heat exchanger, which was unknown to the homeowner and could have created a very dangerous situation once heating season rolled around. Glad we caught that one when we did.

We also retired her wartime-era hot water tank 😂 and replaced it with a brand-new electric hot water tank.

Another busy day getting things done and, more importantly, making sure our customer's home is safe and ready for winter!

Another busy day on the go! 🔨

Another kitchen design is done and officially ordered! 😄 We’re excited to get started on this one. The customer chose a beautiful brown wood-toned cabinet face, and we’ll be finishing it off with quartz countertops as well. Their kitchen is definitely ready for a makeover, and we can’t wait to share the transformation once we get started!

We also got the first coat of mud and tape on this drywall repair after installing new greenboard, getting it ready for the next coats.

Mike was busy knocking out some structural repairs first thing this morning, then moved on to making more progress on another kitchen renovation we have underway.

Then a quick trip to Salmon Arm for a vanity sink hookup, along with replacing two shut-off valves and the drain lines. 🔧
