Well that's a wrap! A vinyl siding wrap that is! 😎🔨

From crappy old leaking aluminum siding with no building paper behind it, and outdated single pane windows that let the cold right in, to a completely transformed exterior!

New windows, new gutters, a newly sheeted roof with torch on roofing membrane, new Tyvek house wrap, brand new vinyl siding, and energy efficient double pane windows throughout!

What a difference a little over a week can make!

The crew absolutely crushed this project, and it's pretty incredible to see how far we've come in such a short amount of time. Not only does this place look significantly better, but it's now much better protected from the elements and ready for the colder weather ahead.

Another great transformation by the crew at Slattery Services! 💪🏡

Another busy day on 2 different job sites for the Slattery Services crew! 💪🔨

Didn't manage to get many photos today, but that doesn't mean we weren't getting things done!

We've got a lot on the go right now, and we're slowly catching up and getting everything back on track to where we need to be!

We're currently waiting on final approval from the structural engineer for our addition project before we can call for our next inspection and keep moving forward with construction.

Our trailer renovation is also coming along great! We're almost completely wrapped up with the exterior, and it's been quite the transformation!

We also got our permits approved for 2 more egress windows! 🙌

And to top it off, our new concrete saw finally arrived! Definitely wasn't a cheap investment, but it's going to make a huge difference in our efficiency. We'll now be able to complete our concrete cutting from the exterior, making these egress window installations much more efficient for our crew.

Lots of work on the go, lots of moving parts, and plenty more projects coming up!

We're keeping busy, investing in better equipment, and continuing to push forward every day.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support Slattery Services! We appreciate it more than you know! ❤️

No days off for the crew at Slattery Services! 💪🔨

Not when our days are as busy as they've been lately! Even with the long hours and packed schedules, the crew keeps showing up and getting things done!

Today was another productive day on site. We got a ton of siding installed and another 2 windows cut in and installed! 🏡

Tomorrow we're right back at it with 2 more windows to install, then it's time to finish up the remaining siding and bring this exterior transformation one step closer to completion!

It's been a busy stretch for all of us, but seeing these projects come together and watching the progress we're making every day makes it all worthwhile.

Huge shoutout to the crew for continuing to put in the effort and keeping our projects moving forward. Couldn't do it without them!

Stay tuned, this one's really starting to take shape! 🔨🏡

🍁🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Slattery Services! 🦃🍁

As we head into Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to reflect on just how much we have to be thankful for this year.

First and foremost, our amazing customers. Whether you've trusted us with a small repair, a major renovation, or an entire transformation of your home, you've helped us build something we're incredibly proud of. Every project, every referral, every kind review and every opportunity means more to us than you know.

We're also incredibly thankful for our hardworking crew. The long days, early mornings, challenging projects and everything in between wouldn't be possible without the dedication and effort our team puts in every single day.

Building a business isn't always easy. There are stressful days, unexpected challenges and plenty of lessons along the way. But looking back at how far we've come, the relationships we've built and the incredible people we've met, it's all been worth it.

We're not just thankful for the work. We're thankful for the people who make it possible. ❤️

From our family and the entire Slattery Services team to yours, we wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, laughter, good food and memories worth making.

Thank you for continuing to support our local business. We truly couldn't do it without you.

🍂 Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🍂

I've really been slacking this week with the social media updates! Not because we haven't been busy or haven't had much going on, but because we've been having some incredibly busy days with A LOT going on! 😂

Friday was definitely not all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, it was a pretty miserable, rainy day, but that didn't stop us from getting a solid amount of work done!

We managed to cut in and install a brand new exterior door, cut in and install a new patio door, and then headed off to tackle the final stages of an insurance restoration job. Not too shabby for a rainy Friday!

And the work doesn't stop just because it's Saturday!

Seth is back at it today, wrapping up the finishing touches on one of our kitchen renovations. He's tackling the exterior siding repairs where we relocated two windows to make the new kitchen layout work. It's those finishing details that really bring a project together!

Meanwhile, I've been busy behind the scenes doing walkthroughs on three pretty substantial upcoming projects, putting together the details to get some quotes out the door and hopefully secure some more exciting work for the team!

We've got another incredibly busy week ahead of us, multiple projects on the go, lots of moving parts, and plenty more transformations to share.

Sometimes when we're a little quiet on here, it's not because things have slowed down. It's because we're too busy swinging hammers, coordinating projects, meeting customers, and making things happen!

As always, a huge thank you to our customers for keeping us busy and trusting Slattery Services with your homes. We genuinely appreciate every opportunity that comes our way.

Stay tuned, we've got lots more coming! 🔨🏡

Phew, what a busy day! 😅🔨

What a day Spencer, Seth and I had today! Gotta love it though!

We managed to get all the egress windows installed at this home on Westside Road, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Most importantly, our customer is absolutely thrilled, and that's what makes the long days worth it!

Egress windows are more than just a way to bring natural light into your basement. They provide an emergency escape route in the event of a fire or other emergency, making your home safer for your family.

Another huge benefit? With properly installed egress windows, basement rooms can potentially qualify as legal bedrooms, provided they meet all the other required building code criteria.

That means you're not only improving the safety and functionality of your home, but potentially increasing its value too!

It's amazing what a difference a couple of windows can make!

Another successful project for Slattery Services, and another happy customer. Huge shoutout to Spencer and Seth for putting in the work today. 💪

Thinking about adding an egress window to your basement? We handle the process from start to finish, including permits, concrete cutting, installation and interior finishing!

Busy day on two sites today!

Our first egress window is fully cut in, with the second one already halfway there. Tomorrow we’ll get the second window installed, frame them both out, and hopefully get some drywall hung. Seth and I absolutely crushed it today and made some serious progress!

Meanwhile, Spencer was over at Kal Park knocking out windows and getting the modular prepped and ready for siding. He absolutely crushed it today too!

Lots happening across the sites and lots more progress coming tomorrow. Stay tuned 👀🔨

Something happened at the Home Show today that was a little funny at first, but the more I thought about it, the more it actually made me kind of sad.

A lovely older lady walked up to our booth and said, “Hello, I know you’ll probably turn me away, but do you take on small bathroom renovations?”

I said, “Of course we do. Why would I turn you away?”

She explained that she had just spoken with another contractor at the show and was told her job was too small and simply wasn’t worth their time.

That stuck with me.

At Slattery Services, I don’t believe there is such a thing as a customer who isn’t “worth our time” because their project isn’t big enough.

Every job matters because it matters to the person hiring us.

What might seem like a small job to a contractor could be something a homeowner has been dealing with every single day for months. In her case, she’s been dealing with a bad bathroom situation for the last 6 months and just wants someone willing to help get it resolved.

We talked about what she needed, she filled out one of our lead sheets, and next week I’ll be heading over to take a look and put together a quote for her.

Maybe it turns into a big job. Maybe it doesn’t. That doesn’t matter.

We’ve done everything from small repairs and service calls to bathrooms, kitchens, decks, additions and large renovations. We can’t take on every project that comes our way, but I never want someone to feel like their project isn’t important enough for us to listen.

As Slattery Services continues to grow, I never want us to lose sight of what got us here in the first place.

Help people. Do good work. Treat people properly. And help wherever we can.

So stop by our booth, tell us what you need done, big or small, and we’ll do our best to get you sorted.

Every customer matters. Every project matters.

We’re excited for the Fall Home Show tomorrow at Kal Tire Place! 🍂🔨

You’ll find us on the new side of the building, and we’re neighbouring with Fairglass, so make sure to stop by and give them a visit as well!

Come say hi, check out what we’ve been working on, and chat with us about your upcoming renovation projects.

See you all tomorrow! 👋

Busy day on sites for the crew today!

Seth is nearing completion on our large kitchen renovation, and Terrence was getting all the tile finished up today. Back tomorrow to get everything grouted!

Spencer and I were out in Kal Park working on a large renovation. We got 3 new windows installed across the front and all of the carpet ripped out inside.

BK Disposal swung by again to keep the garbage moving. Three dump trailer loads later and we’re making some serious progress!

Tomorrow we are back at it for another busy day before we get everything set up for the BC Home Show this Saturday and Sunday!

Lots happening across the sites and another productive day for the Slattery Services crew. 🔨🏠
