Crawl Spaces and Dirt basements..
Furnaces and duct work get pretty dirty when they are running in dirt basements.

Make sure that your cold air return ductwork is sealed nice and tight or you are going to constantly be pulling dirt dust into your furnace and into your home.

Hey everybody! It’s tech tip Tuesday!

Some Homes in the Okanagan have Heat Recovery Ventilation units these units pull the old warm stale air from your home mix it with fresh air from outside and redistribute it throughout your house. These little Units can build up a lot of Dust and are recommended to be cleaned every 6 months.

Luckily you don’t have to call your friendly neighbourhood duct cleaner when it’s time to clean the HRV.

You can do it yourself if you like.
