It all started with a phone call. 📞🌿

Leigh-Ann called us in June after underground repairs left her front yard completely torn apart.

We had a budget and a vision: create a beautiful, welcoming front yard with a pathway and a place to sit, relax, and enjoy time with friends and family.

Over the past few months, the front yard evolved. Leigh-Ann followed our recommendation to remove a few trees growing near the power lines, and what a difference it made! The space immediately felt bigger, brighter, and more open — allowing enough sunlight for a healthy lawn and thriving plants. 🌱

We listened. We planned. We created.

The result is a beautiful, functional, low-maintenance front yard that can be enjoyed for years to come — completed on time and on budget. 🙌

This week we built a fence! 🔨

We love getting the opportunity to work for great people — especially the ones who bake us goodies along the way. 😂🤍

Cali Garden has been built on hard work, trust, and repeat customers who continue to call us back for their next project.

At the beginning of the season, we completed retaining walls and artificial turf for our amazing client Chris & Keri. When the neighbours later removed their cedars, we were only a phone call away! This time, we came back to install this beautiful fence in a pretty challenging area.

Every project gives us another opportunity to grow, learn, problem-solve, and work hard — but most importantly, to continue building relationships with our customers.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to trust Cali Garden with their outdoor spaces. 🌿🤍

We connect straight to your Airbnb or VRBO calendar. From then on you never tell us a guest is coming.

We see your check-ins and check-outs as they happen, and the tub gets sorted before every arrival. No texting us on a Thursday night from Vancouver. No remembering. No "did I mention the booking on the 12th?"

Only dates come across, by the way. No guest names, no contact details, nothing else. Just the check-in and check-out dates.

One year later… 🌿✨

Do you remember this property we prepared for our clients’ wedding?

We recently returned, and it was incredible to see how much everything has grown and filled in over the past year. The gardens are thriving, the lawn is lush and healthy, and the entire landscape has settled beautifully into the space.

The bees are happy, the plants are happy, and we certainly are too! 🐝🌸

There’s something incredibly rewarding about revisiting a project and seeing the long-term results of thoughtful design, quality installation, and proper maintenance. What was once a newly completed landscape has transformed into a mature, vibrant outdoor space our clients can enjoy for years to come.

Spend a day with me in my “office” 🌿

These are just a few highlights, because if you know me, you know I’m terrible at taking photos — I get focused on the task and forget to capture the moment.

Aside from the work you see here, there are emails, phone calls, crew organization, safety meetings, deliveries, material returns, scheduling, problem-solving… and everything in between.

Most days start around 6:00–6:30am and I don’t usually get back until around 7pm.

A full office day is usually something I catch up on over the weekend, but today was one of those much-needed catch-up days.

It truly is a privilege to work hard, stay busy, and serve our community.

I’m a pretty private person, but here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the owner ☺️
