We’re done the Phase 1 cleanup after the last few wind storms, and now on to Phase 2. Today we’re working alongside Town of Vegreville looking after hazard trees along the streets. Keeping people and properties safer, one tree at a time!

Late Friday evening my services were requested to retrieve an Owl that was hung up in a tree, unfortunately the owl had already passed away, but the bird needed to be retrieved from approximately 40 feet up a Spruce tree in order for an autopsy to be completed. After making quick work of the retrieval, I was given the opportunity to handle a live Great Grey Owl. Thanks to Strathcona Raptor Shelter for caring for these magnificent creatures! As always, our wildlife and cat rescue services are free, and will remain free as a service to the community.
