This past Friday, Vestacon hosted a resume workshop at our Vaughan office. It was a pleasure to host and welcome such an enthusiastic group.
The session was facilitated by our very own Enza Falzone, Director of HR, and Julie Zabizewski, VP of Strategy, Vestacon Limited, in partnership with YWCA Toronto and Toronto Crew.
One of the most meaningful ways we can contribute to the future of our industry is by sharing our knowledge, experience, and lessons learned. It was wonderful to see so many participants actively engaged in the conversation, asking thoughtful questions, interacting, and showing a genuine interest in the construction industry.
The success of this workshop is, once again, a testament to the fact that our industry is built on more than projects. It is built on people, relationships, knowledge, and the willingness to invest in those who will shape what comes next.
True leadership extends beyond the walls of one’s own organization. Creating opportunities to educate, mentor, and inspire others is an important part of giving back to an industry that has provided so many of us with opportunities to grow and succeed.
