The valve box sits right beside the hydrangeas at this Whitby home. We came to winterize the six-zone sprinkler system and completed the seasonal shutdown.

The irrigation is in while the yard is still taking shape. We installed a five-zone system at this Toronto home, with the valve box beside the hedge and the controller in the garage.

The final ground level wasn't in place during installation, so we'll return to move two sprinkler heads and check the heights of the others. We also left pipe and wiring ready for future work at the front.

We came to this Whitby home for sprinkler winterization and found a leak in the front garden's drip line. The brown tubing you see here runs between the plants at soil level.

At the back, opening a valve revealed another leaking pipe. The homeowner told us that zone was already out of use. Identifying those two trouble spots gives us a clear starting point for repair work.

This Whitby garden has irrigation tucked among the hydrangeas and hostas. We came by to winterize the home's three-zone sprinkler system and completed the seasonal shutdown. The open green valve box in the photo is the access point in the front garden.

A drip line along the side of the house is also planned for next spring. That work is still to come.

These photos show what digging for a new landscape border had cut at this Innisfil home: irrigation pipe and control wiring.

We repaired two leaks, fixed the wiring, checked the system and made adjustments. The timer also had six start times, so we reset it to one - enough to cycle through all three zones. The sprinkler system was operational when we finished.

We were at this Vaughan home to add irrigation for the front lawn and garden along the house. The installation brings together four lawn-watering zones and a separate drip zone for the garden.

This green access box, tucked beside the ornamental grass, is part of the new setup. Having separate zones lets the lawn and garden watering be managed separately.

We were in Barrie today to add irrigation for a homeowner's front and back lawns. The new setup has seven watering zones, with the controller beside the pool equipment shown here.

The installation is in, and we're due back for the final adjustments at the front. That finishing visit is still to come.

You'd walk past these hostas without noticing the irrigation tucked underneath. Our crew was at this Vaughan home today to winterize the sprinkler system, with valve boxes sitting among the garden plants.

We completed the visit, switched the timer off and unplugged it, then disconnected and taped the main water connection as part of the seasonal shutdown.

We came to this Vaughan home for sprinkler winterization and found a couple of things that needed a closer look.

One sprinkler head was missing. The cabana connection also had no blowout option, so we recommended a fitting change to allow a future blowout there. That change is still proposed, not completed.

Our crew was in Vaughan this morning to winterize an eight-zone sprinkler system. The red hose running beside this Japanese maple is part of the setup for the visit.

We located the front valve box beneath its decorative rock cover and completed the winterization, getting the irrigation ready for the colder months ahead.
