We’re proud to share the full turnkey transformation of the Holiday Inn Express in Ormond Beach, Florida — a complete overhaul from top to bottom.

This milestone project was personally managed and executed by our Managing Partner, Mahmood Kara, who was boots on the ground every single day, making sure every detail was delivered to perfection. His hands-on leadership and dedication brought this vision to life.

This marks a major step forward for X**A Group as we plant our flag in the U.S. market — and we’re just getting started.

At X**A Group, we’re proud to celebrate Women in Construction Week by recognizing the incredible women who make our organization stronger every day. Construction has historically been a male-dominated industry, but we’re breaking down those barriers.

We believe in creating an inclusive and diverse workforce, which is why we’re proud to say that the majority of our employees are women – from high-level managerial positions, such as directors and coordinators, to supervisors, laborers, and beyond. Every single woman at X**A Group plays a crucial role in our success.

One of those outstanding women is Gissell Feliz, who has been with us for several years and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and skill in managing large-scale hotel projects across Canada. Her dedication and expertise in overseeing complex projects reflect the invaluable contributions women bring to our industry.

The contributions of women in construction are not just about filling roles; they are about bringing a unique perspective, dedication, and expertise to the table. From managing large-scale projects to ensuring quality control on the ground, the women at X**A Group have consistently proven that leadership comes in all forms.

From concept to ex*****on, this transformation encompassed all public spaces, reception, meeting rooms, pool, bathrooms, bar, restaurants, back of house, front desk, and beyond.

A massive thank you to our visionary designer, our valued client, and the incredible hotel staff—especially the General Manager, whose leadership and collaboration made this an outstanding experience. The synergy was seamless, and the result speaks for itself.

Special mention to Cinnamon Bear, a beloved Whistler landmark, now part of this exciting transformation.
