Bringing you back to this project for a closer look at the finished backyard retreat.

Our clients wanted room to swim, cook, lounge and enjoy summer nights.

This backyard brings it all together.

We worked alongside our sister company, DOMUS DESIGN + BUILD to bring their vision to life. The cabana features a washroom, an indoor BBQ and a lounging area, with an outdoor shower nearby.

New paving connects the spaces throughout the backyard, while planting and a dedicated firepit area complete the setting for entertaining or unwinding.

Materials and project credits:

• Firepit area: Westmount pavers in Onyx Black, laid in a herringbone pattern
• Backyard paving: Brampton Brick Molina
• Pool coping: Techo-Bloc Raffinato
• Retaining wall: Oaks Landscape Products Proterra

A warm welcome home.

For this property, our Stonelife Landscaping team redesigned the front entrance with a curved walkway, refreshed porch steps and planting chosen to complement the new layout.

The transformation includes:
• A new asphalt driveway with decorative banding
• An organically shaped, extended walkway in Techo-Bloc Blu 60, Champlain Grey
• Front porch steps clad in Techo-Bloc Blu 45, Champlain Grey
• An additional 6-foot Brampton Brick step in Slate Grey
• A planting plan featuring non-invasive, rabbit-resistant plants

The new organically shaped walkway brings movement to the front yard, while coordinated paving and step finishes tie the entrance together.

We completely redesigned this front entrance to create a more spacious, welcoming approach to the home.

The new layout features multiple stone landings, wide steps, custom retaining walls, glass railings and neatly framed garden beds. The light stone and dark border add contrast throughout the design, while the different elevations give the entrance depth and character.

A beautiful new entrance, designed and built to make a lasting first impression.

For the retaining wall, using a mix of:
Brampton Brick ProterraTM Split in Greyfield
Brampton Brick ProterraTM Smooth inGreyfield

For the patio slabs, using:
Techo-Bloc Blu 60 Smooth Slabs in Greyed Nickel

A look at this completed backyard. 👀

Using Oaks Landscape Products Molina pavers, we took a completely blank canvas and transformed it into a beautiful, functional space made for enjoying the outdoors.

Not every project looks beautiful in the beginning.

Sometimes it's just excavation, exposed soil, and a lot of trust.

When you hire the right team, and combine it with the right planning, a beautiful design, and a little patience, it all comes together.

What started as a 9-foot-deep pool is now a backyard designed for you to enjoy cooling off with a drink all day long.☀️💦

This project was not just a renovation, it was a complete transformation.

🔹 Raised the pool floor from 9 feet deep to approximately 4 feet
🔹 Filled and compacted with clear stone and Granular A
🔹 Installed proper drainage throughout
🔹 Created a built-in seating edge for relaxing
🔹 Redesigned the entry with full-width steps and a sun ledge instead of corner stairs
🔹 Poured a new concrete base
🔹 Installed a brand-new pool liner

The result?

A modern, resort-inspired pool.

Day 2 ☀️

After yesterday's heavy rain, the weather cleared and our crew was back on site to complete this beautifully designed heated exposed aggregate driveway.

Here's a behind-the-scenes as our guys finish up.
