The transformation is complete.

What was once a 9-foot-deep pool is now a resort-inspired pool featuring a sun ledge, full-width entry steps, built-in seating, and a fresh new liner.

What started as a 9-foot-deep pool is now a backyard designed for you to enjoy cooling off with a drink all day long.☀️💦

This project was not just a renovation, it was a complete transformation.

🔹 Raised the pool floor from 9 feet deep to approximately 4 feet
🔹 Filled and compacted with clear stone and Granular A
🔹 Installed proper drainage throughout
🔹 Created a built-in seating edge for relaxing
🔹 Redesigned the entry with full-width steps and a sun ledge instead of corner stairs
🔹 Poured a new concrete base
🔹 Installed a brand-new pool liner

The result?

A modern, resort-inspired pool.

After yesterday's heavy rain, the weather cleared and our crew was back on site to complete this beautifully designed heated exposed aggregate driveway.

A few years. Same property. Completely different landscape.

Swipe to see the before.

What began as a newly completed landscape installation has evolved into a mature, resort-style outdoor living space. The natural stone terraces, armour stone retaining walls, infinity-edge pool, and carefully selected plantings were designed for this effect.

Landscapes aren't built for the day they're installed. They're built for what they'll become.

As trees establish, shrubs fill in, and perennials mature, the space develops depth, texture, privacy, and character that simply can't be achieved on day one. The result is a landscape that feels like it has always belonged to the property.

Patience is one of the most rewarding investments in landscape design.

Classic Yorkville Aesthetic, Modernized ✨

For this front entrance transformation, the goal was to create something timeless, refined, and fitting for the character of the neighbourhood while still respecting the original charm of the home.

We refreshed the walkway with new interlocking stone in a clean 90-degree herringbone pattern and intentionally incorporated subtle red border accents to tie into the warm brick tones throughout the property and surrounding Yorkville aesthetic.

The rectangular pavers are laid perpendicular to each other in a zig-zag formation, creating a classic woven look that feels both elegant and understated. This timeless pattern is commonly seen in neighbourhoods like Yorkville because it adds texture and sophistication while maintaining a clean architectural feel.

To complete the look, we incorporated structured boxwood hedging, natural stone accents, fresh planting, and crisp garden bed lines to create a polished and welcoming entrance.
