Before: dark, cramped, and underused.
After: bright, functional, and built for outdoor living.

This transformation completely reworked the space with a custom outdoor kitchen, upgraded hardscaping, and lush planting that brings warmth and privacy. Proof that even a compact backyard can become something special with the right vision.

Another B&A to kick off the week. ✨ Designed by the incredible team at , this front yard was reimagined into a refined, elegant entry featuring natural stone walkways, slab steps, a thermally modified ash bench, lush plantings, and a small patch of eco-lawn.

Before & after of our Sky Garden build with the awesome landscape architecture team at — they really had carte blanche on this one!

All of the existing thermally modified ash decking was carefully lifted, set aside, and reused after the infrastructure, green roof layers, and metalwork were complete.

Nothing was allowed to connect to the roof or the building, so everything you see is freestanding and engineered with counterweighting.

The Corten steel panels do double duty: a clean architectural screen that helps conceal parts of the facade, and wind protection for the garden.

Arbordale took home 5 awards including the prestigious Casey Van Maris award at the Landscape Ontario Awards of Excellence last night! We couldn’t be prouder of our team and everyone who contributed to create these amazing gardens 🙏🏼🤝🏼🏆

A simple Rosedale frontyard completed last season. Existing brick and concrete columns cleaned up and seasonal planters placed on top for colour. Heated Upper Algonquin limestone walkways, landing, steps and front porch. Boxwood hedging contains Limelight Hydrangeas and a European Beech hedge shoulders the yard.
