I want to be remembered for how I made people feel, what I had the courage to challenge, and the doors I helped open.

This has gone on for far too long.
This reel shares the context, the behind-the-scenes footage and why I chose to speak publicly.

What you are witnessing is mistreatment in plain sight over the temporary shift of two unset tables 2 hours prior to cocktails.

The testimonials included towards the end represent only a handful of the messages I have received from people sharing their own experiences, whether at this venue or elsewhere.

This is not gossip.
This is not drama.
This is not a joke.
It is a pattern across the hospitality and event industries that too many people have been afraid to expose.

RESPECT THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE ROOM.

If protecting the integrity of this industry makes me difficult, outspoken or inconvenient, so be it.

I will keep saying it. Loudly.


The florist. The planner. The creative directors. The Floor wrap crew. The loader. The server. The technician. The cleaner. The security guard. The person carrying the final box out at 2:00am!

Every person matters.

Respect is not optional when things are easy.
Character is revealed when the pressure is on, the timeline changes and no one is watching.

Our clients trust us with moments they cannot recreate. They deserve professionals who communicate, collaborate and honour that responsibility.

Beautiful rooms mean nothing if people are mistreated while creating them. Don’t you agree??

A cocktail garden party designed through Spatial Event Architecture, moving between the interior and exterior of the property with multiple activations, guest touchpoints and moments built to unfold throughout the experience.

What does it take to make an icon feel unexpected again?

Energy. Instinct. Collaboration.

Garrick and I brought different perspectives to the table, challenged the obvious, and built a concept worthy of ten years of Good Girl.

Three days at the Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Conference. One unmistakable Carolina Herrera world.

There is a version of this industry where everyone smiles, says “no problem,” fixes what should never have needed fixing and never speaks about it again.

This isn’t that version.
This is the BTS of when it doesn’t matter how perfect your timeline is. It matters how good you are at your job!

One key vendor missed the standard. And plainly put, fu**ed up.

It affected the timeline.
Created unnecessary noise.
And required everyone around them to compensate for what should have been handled before arrival.

The House compensated.

The client experience remained intact.
The room kept moving.
The standard did not move with it.

Because being able to fix it doesn’t make it acceptable.

The unfiltered story is next.
