WellFab successfully executed two 24-inch hot taps on a live, operating piping system, creating new large-diameter connection points while maintaining continuous system operation.
From connection preparation and valve installation to equipment alignment, controlled cutting, coupon retrieval, and final verification, every stage was planned and executed under live operating conditions.
Throughout the cutting operation, system conditions and equipment performance were continuously monitored to maintain control and ensure precise ex*****on.
The result: two fully established 24-inch connection points without draining the system, interrupting service, or taking critical infrastructure offline.
