Good evening.

Please be aware of a travel advisory in effect on Highway 16 from Priestly Hill (West of Fraser Lake) to Prince George and further east.

Blowing snow is creating reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions. Please avoid non-essential travel and if you do have to drive this evening please reduce speeds, drive defensively and use caution.

The weather just seems to want to keep on coming!!
We have seen floods frost, snow, slush and rain all “winter” long.
We are braced and ready for whatever comes! Forecast is telling us and the public to be ready for a few more days of winter conditions.
Hopefully this years last reminder to drive to conditions and give extra time while travelling!
Even if it isn’t we will be out plowing and restoring roads as fast as we can.

Our crew will be out installing signs that align with the details in the restriction notice. Please follow DriveBC for updates or changes to load restrictions as we head into the Spring Season.

Spring and Winter are in a head to head face off right now!
Crews are on full patrols inspecting pipes and monitoring high water.
As we continue to patrol all roads through out the area, the extremely fast thaw has been causing mini flooding conditions and road deterioration.
We will continue 24hr patrols and fix problems issues but please feel free to call us at 250-567-3114 if you see a water issue in your area.
