Good Morning!

With school being back in session, there are more children walking, biking, and riding buses each morning and afternoon. Please slow down, stay alert in school zones and when approaching crosswalks, and give the school buses plenty of space.

🚨Remember: when a school bus has it's red lights flashing and stop arm out, traffic must stop. A few extra seconds can make all the difference in keeping our kids safe.

Lets all do our part to make every students trip to and from school a safe one.

Please be advised that paving is happening today at the highway 16/27 intersection. It is the final lift of asphalt for the new intersection project and there will be traffic delays.

Please use alternate routes if possible, otherwise expect delays.

We look forwarding to finish off this project and bringing infrastructure improvements to the area.

Please expect delays on near the highway 16/27 intersection for paving operations.

Please expect delays on between Carmen hill road and Vanderhoof for crack sealing

Please expect delays on near Cluculz Lake for spray patching

Watch for traffic control, give yourself extra time to get to your destination and do your part to help keep our roadside workers safe.

Please be aware of construction that will be happening in on the Burrard Bridge.

Work Dates: Starting July 13th for an estimate duration of 7 weeks.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday Potentially between 6am – 6pm.
Disruptions: Single Lane Alternating Traffic, Minor Delays for closures, potential temporary sidewalk implications.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved colleague Tyrell Weaver. Tyrell was an integral part of the YRB Vanderhoof family since 2015. We wish to pass along our deepest sympathies to Tyrell’s family, friends and colleagues as we all mourn his passing.

YRB Vanderhoof respectfully asks for the time and space required to ensure we can support our staff and management during this tragic time.
