I just completed my first deck project, as a fully licensed Contractor. 😁

As I have decided to continue working at the mine, I have been VERY busy trying to balance music, small jobs and family. That being said, I somehow managed to squeeze in this bigger project, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. I learned lots and the client is very happy! I am excited to continue learning and getting better.

Thanks to my brother Dan at Pantheon Tile Plus for lining up this project, and hiring me to bring it to life.

Also, a big shoutout to Reece at Techno Metal Post in PG for the wicked job on the deck piles. He was very easy to work with and extremely accurate, with no mess to clean up after. He was a huge life saver, since I’m not sure that I would have had the time to pour the footings with concrete.

I bought a new truck once. It was nice, but I was scared to scratch it, and it’s cost $1,500/mnth to own… My $1,500 Ford paid itself off within the first few days of contracting, and i can drive it anywhere. I don’t think I’ll ever buy new again!

I’ve had a VERY busy summer Contracting, working at the Mine, and playing LOTS of music.. 😅 I’m currently wrapping up a few of my bigger exterior jobs, then I plan to slow down for a bit. My wife and I have decided that I will continue working my full time job at Blackwater Mine, while working some smaller contracting jobs/music on the side to get the business rolling. I am learning lots about the business end of things, and I am excited to see where this takes me. Cheers!

Myself and my brother Dan at Pantheon Tile Plus just wrapped up this brand new bathroom! I jumped in to help him hang drywall, tape and mud, paint, trim, hang the door, and finish up the project.

My brother does amazing tile work. Give him a call if you need tile. If you have a full bathroom Reno, give me a call, and maybe we’ll get it done together!
