Vanderhoof Specialty Wood Products and Platinum Pellet will be pausing operations for the remainder of the holiday season. It is early and there are many reasons that weigh into these decisions, but at this time, we would like to just wish all of our Amazing People, the Happiest of Holiday Seasons and we hope that everyone can spend time with friends and family and focus on the things that truly matter. We also want to express the greatest of gratitudes to everyone that has contributed to keeping our little operation moving forward this last 12 months when we were counted out after Plateau shut down. It has been challenging to say the least and the sacrifices our people have made are immeasurable. It is not just the irreplaceable staff inside this plant that have contributed to our well being. It is also all of our partners, our vendors, and contractors that still believe in us. Itβs our community that checks on us when we pass them in the grocery store. Itβs the people from the past that stop by or call in to see how things are going and that everyone is ok. We appeciate all of you!
We have plans and bright hope for 2026 and we are excited to see everyone again in the new year.
So until 2026, please endeavour to have the Happiest of Holidays, Merriest of Christmasβ, and Warmest Gatherings with Friends and Family and thank you all for being part of ours!
