Alpine Garden Club of British Columbia The Alpine Garden Club of BC (AGCBC) is a Vancouver based gardening society to promote the interest and preservation of alpine plants.

The Alpine Garden Club of British Columbia is interested in promoting the education, growing and cultivation of alpine plants. Worldwide, the Alpine Garden Club has approximately 250 members in 16 countries, half of whom live in British Columbia, Canada, the remainder reside in other parts of North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Save the Date - Our Annual Fall Sale will be at UBC Botanical Garden on September 19th. 11am to 2pm.

Right next door to us will be the UBC Friends of the Garden with their Rare Bulb Sale.

Come check out our club tables full of rare and unusual plants propagated by our club members plus our 13 vendors! We have alpines, specialty woodland plants, succulents, bog plants, perennials, shrubs and even beautiful bouquets grown and arranged by our very own Bruce Mcconnell!

I am delighted to introduce a new contributor from Kazakhstan, Adilmurat Nagashpekov (Адильмурат Нагашпеков) who sends a photo
essay of some plants he has seen on his mountain outings. It is always a pleasure to find a young person who is interested in learning more about the world around them, and sharing that experience with others.
