East Vancouver kitchen renovation ✨

The highlight of this project is a custom built-in w**e display set into the wall between the kitchen and dining room. Walnut backing, frameless glass doors, and recessed lighting turn the homeowners’ collection into a feature you can see from across the main floor.

The rest of the kitchen continues that clean, warm-modern look:

High-gloss white flat-panel cabinetry with brushed gold hardware
White quartz countertops with waterfall edges
Shimmering mosaic tile backsplash with under-cabinet lighting
Ch*****ne bronze pull-down faucet over an undermount double sink
Full-height pantry storage
Wide-plank white oak flooring that runs through to the dining and living areas

The layout now flows straight through the main floor, with light reaching all the way from the front windows to the back deck.

From membrane to finished deck ☀️

Our team at Comor Construction just wrapped up this rooftop sundeck, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

We started with a fresh waterproof membrane, then installed an adjustable pedestal system to support large-format porcelain pavers. This approach has some big advantages:

✅ Rainwater drains freely underneath, so there's no pooling on the surface
✅ The membrane stays protected and accessible for future maintenance
✅ Each pedestal is height-adjustable, giving a perfectly level finish even on a sloped roof
✅ Porcelain is durable, frost-resistant, and easy to keep clean

The result is a clean, modern outdoor space with tight, even joints and a seamless transition from the new sliding doors. Even after a fall shower, it looks sharp, reflecting the sky like a mirror.
