We're currently mid-build on a new detached garage on Vancouver's West Side, and the bones are looking great. These behind-the-scenes shots show exactly what goes into a proper new structure build — and why getting it right at this stage matters so much.

What you're seeing here:

🌿 When a bedroom and bathroom renovation goes exactly right.

At Comor Construction, we love a project that has a strong design vision — and this one delivered in every room. The homeowners wanted spaces that felt personal, bold, and beautifully crafted. We made it happen.

🛏️ The primary bedroom:
The feature wall is the moment everyone talks about. We built a custom 3D sculptural panel wall — floor to ceiling — painted in a soft sage green that feels calm and sophisticated at the same time. The raised geometric relief elements catch the light beautifully throughout the day, creating depth and texture that no wallpaper or paint could ever replicate. Paired with warm oak nightstands, brushed gold globe sconces, and a chunky terracotta knit throw, the room strikes the perfect balance between cosy and design-forward.

🚿 The ensuite bathroom:
Bold, moody, and completely unexpected — in the best way. Deep charcoal green stacked tile runs floor to ceiling on every wall, grounded by a terrazzo-look floor and a crisp white curb-free shower base. Brushed gold fixtures throughout — ceiling-mount rain head, handheld wand, towel bar, and faucet — add warmth and a touch of luxury against all that deep tile. The custom blush pink vanity is the wildcard that makes the whole room: playful, unexpected, and completely intentional.

The dried bunny tail stems and terracotta vase styled on the countertop? That's the kind of detail that tells you everything about this project — thoughtful, warm, and carefully considered right down to the last accessory.
