Hens are one of the best returns on investment when it comes to a backyard garden. Up to 20 eggs per week with 4 hens, they eat your compost, produces great manure for the soil and a fun to hang out with. You can let them loose to prep your gardens and eat pests while fertilizing or churn up a spot of your lawn to convert to garden space.
