For a show about all things fleet electrification, there's a distinct area we've been unable to address: The distinct areas where we don't live! Based out of the Lower Mainland, we haven't been able to directly address some of the concerns held by folks who live in the more vast and rugged rural areas of our province... until now! We're taking a road trip through the B.C. Interior to talk to companies, organizations, and groups about their thoughts on fleet electrification. There are tons of success stories out there, not without their own stories of overcoming challenges. Join us as we explore what B.C. has to offer, and have conversations with folks who are pioneers in the ZEV transition all across our province.

This September and October, the Community Energy Association is hosting events across BC as part of its Fleet Forward series and Zero-Emission Fleet Vehicles Showcase.

We look forward to seeing you there!

CEA’s work in the transport sector identified a gap in knowledge around transitioning to zero-emission vehicles in medium and heavy-duty fleets. The specific need for education, relevant resources and understanding the challenges was identified through engagement with our Transportation Peer Network, and as a result, this fall, CEA is presenting Fleet Forward: Zero-Emission Fleet Vehicles Showcase. The four events across BC take place in September and October.

Delivery vans, garbage trucks, excavators and school buses are just some of the vehicles that already have viable zero-emission options with many being supplied directly from businesses based in BC, but the question of how to integrate them into existing operations and fleets can present a conundrum.

Fleet forward will allow organizations and individuals with an interest in the journey to zero-emission vehicles to meet and hear from manufacturers about their vehicles, see vehicles up close in-person and learn from peers that have already made investments and introduced zero-emission vehicles into their operations.

This is your chance to ask questions directly to people that can give you the information you need to help guide strategic decisions around your own vehicles and fleet.
