Luc, Bill, Donna, and Keegan are the team behind SCR’s Purchasing & Logistics, keeping projects and operations moving by ensuring the right materials and equipment get to the right place at the right time.
"From everyday consumables to specialized underground mining equipment, rentals, and critical repair components, our team manages sourcing, quotations, purchasing, expediting, logistics, and receiving while balancing cost, availability, quality, and schedule. We work closely with operations, maintenance, project teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation providers to solve challenges and keep materials moving.
We are also continually improving how Purchasing supports SCR’s multiple sites through the development of digital tools and streamlined processes that provide greater visibility and efficiency throughout the purchasing cycle, from requisition and approval through purchasing, delivery, receiving, and backorder management.
Ultimately, our role goes beyond issuing purchase orders; we connect the needs of our operations with the suppliers, materials, equipment, and logistics solutions that help SCR get the job done."
