Ugh!!! It was one of those miserable days. Working in the wet snow was horrible. The planters I was working in were frozen. I was sick as a dog, the fever chills just coursing through my bones. Hands frozen. Wetness starting to seep through my multiple layers. It was taking all my willpower not to give up and head home when someone whisked by popping a chocolate in my hand and offering a compliment on the work I've done. She was gone before I even knew what had happened, and it changed everything. To my kind stranger, "Thank you. Everything seemed much brighter because of you."
